A gas explosion Tuesday in a corn dryer at Countryside Cooperative-Kings Valley Agronomy just outside Osseo, WI, left two men injured, fire officials said.

The men, believed to be contract employees, apparently were running gas lines to the corn dryer at the co-op, south of Osseo, when the explosion occurred at 1:30 p.m., said Kirk Gunderson of the Osseo Rural Fire Department. Emergency personnel transported them to burn centers in Madison and Minneapolis.
