Emerson Actuator Certified for Functional Safety

Emerson Process Management Valve Automation, Inc. TEC2000 with TEC2 Electronics (SIL Option) Electric Actuator earned certification for functional safety from certification provider, exida.

The certification ensures the TEC2000 with TEC2 Electronics (SIL Option) Electric Actuator meets the functional safety requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 capability per IEC 61508: 2010.

“TEC2000 Electric Actuator with TEC2 electronics delivers configurable non-intrusive total electronic control to the process and controls industry,” said Jack Booker, engineering director at Emerson Process Management Valve Automation.
