This is not the main Toyota Plant, TMMI, but a facility that manufacturers interior components for Toyota vehicles. Boshoku is the sheet supplier for Toyota.

Tom Rinke, the plant manager, said the fire broke out in the east welding area.

There were no injuries and no major damage, but the sprinkler system did go off.

Rinke says his crew will have to clean up the water and hope to have operations back up and running later Friday evening.

Rinke is assessing the situation now and will have a better understanding of the extent of the fire in the next few hours.
