About a dozen homes in Chico, TX, evacuated as a precaution after a fire broke out at a natural gas facility nearby.

The fire broke out early Thursday morning at the Targa Gas Plant. The plant is west of Chico, a small town about 55 miles northwest of Fort Worth. A plant spokesperson said the fire was inside of a building with three compressors. Two workers were at the plant when the fire started.
