He said Port Huron firefighters had been on scene, and Port Huron Township firefighters are covering the Marysville station.

Tri-Hospital EMS was on stand-by at the scene, but no injuries have been reported, Paterson said.

He said the fire was contained but he expected firefighters to be at the scene for another hour and a half to two hours.

The fire was reported at 11:30 a.m.
