PA Gas Pipeline Replace Projects Begin

Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania is investing more than $1.5 million on separate natural gas pipeline replacement projects in Hanover and West Manchester Township.

The company started the $600,000 project to replace more than 2,000 feet of pipeline on East Walnut Street in Hanover.

The company also started a $965,000 project to replace more than 5,300 feet of pipeline on Loucks Road in West Manchester Township.

The work will require a temporary interruption of natural gas service for customers while it transfers to the new pipe.

All company and contract employees have photo ID badges identifying them as Columbia Gas employees or contractors.
