Rockwell Deals for Maverick

Milwaukee, WI-based Rockwell Automation Inc. dealt for Columbia, IL -based Maverick Technologies.
Rockwell makes automation solutions for a global industrial market. It has more than 22,000 employees. Maverick also offers industrial automation, in addition to enterprise integration and strategic manufacturing solutions. It has 21 locations, more than 300 engineers and technical salespeople on staff, and has completed more than 15,000 projects around the globe.
The acquisition of Maverick will allow Rockwell to expand its process control and information management capabilities, particularly in the chemical, food and beverage, and oil and gas sectors.
Terms of the transaction were not immediately available.

Rockwell has made several acquisitions of late, including Devens, MA-based MagneMotion, a leading manufacturer of intelligent conveying systems, in the first quarter and Alpharetta, GA-based Automation Control Products last month.
