The Occupational Safety and Health Administration began its investigation into the incident July 14.
Production at the plant was shut down July 14, with plans to begin again either the following day or the day after that, said Langhals’ wife, Pat, who owns the business with her husband.
The Langhals purchased the business in January 2018 from Darren’s uncle and aunt, Tom and Jan Langhals.
The business has been in operation since 1975 where sandblasting, industrial work, painting and powder coating is done. There are 35 employees at the business.
