OT cybersecurity provider, Dragos, Inc. dealt for two visibility organizations NetRise and runZero.

These acquisitions follow the close of Accenture’s majority investment in Dragos, which provides capital and global reach to accelerate the Dragos Platform.

In the deals for NetRise and runZero, organizations can now expand visibility into their full xOT environment, which spans connected devices, networks, cloud, software supply chain, and the operational core.

Additionally, Dragos also said Robert M. Lee is now Chairman of the board along with his role as chief executive. Dragos continues to operate independently with its existing leadership team and vendor neutrality.

Joining Dragos will be runZero Chief Executive HD Moore. Additionally, NetRise Chief Executive Thomas Pace, and NetRise CTO and Chief Scientist Michael Scott will join. They will lead the integration of NetRise and runZero into the Dragos Platform while also serving their customer bases.

“The world’s largest companies have invested heavily in enterprise IT security, yet it’s their cyber-physical systems that generate revenue and carry national and local security impact,” Lee said. “Organizations across electric, oil and gas, manufacturing, data centers, and other critical infrastructure sectors need to defend every system that can influence a physical process. That extended environment is xOT. NetRise, runZero, and Dragos defend it together.”

Earlier, Dragos acquired Phosphorus to protect the billions of connected devices embedded across critical infrastructure and other operational networks.

Furthermore, runZero extends Dragos’s asset visibility and exposure management, pulling in existing IT, OT, and cloud asset data from sources organizations already have, so defenders can see everything in their xOT environment.

Moreover, NetRise adds visibility into the firmware and software running on those devices, surfacing risks like outdated components and hardcoded credentials, and supporting the documentation organizations need for compliance with NERC CIP, NIS2, TSA directives and other requirements.
