The certifications are based on the IEC 62443-2-4 and IEC 62443-3-3 standards, which lay a solid foundation of cyber defense mechanisms for automation system networks and cover the specific requirements for developing and designing secure systems.

To further support cybersecurity for system integrators, exida developed training courses, reference material, and personnel competency certification.

The team added CS 204 – IEC 62443 Cybersecurity for Integrators and Solution Providers to its Cybersecurity Practitioner program.

The course focuses on the maturity model for modeling the quality of cybersecurity management systems and the interaction of integrators and owner/operators throughout the cybersecurity lifecycle.

CS 204 prepares candidates for the Cybersecurity Integration specialty of the IEC 62443 Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE) exam for demonstrating personnel cybersecurity competency.
