Firefighters from Howard and Prince George’s Counties responded to assist, and were met with heavy fire, involving hazardous materials such as fuel, feed, fertilizer, and other equipment.

The warehouse style building measures an estimated 100 feet by 300 feet in size and took around 100 firefighters two hours to contain.

Piringer said the fire resulted in significant damage, but no injuries.

Cause of the fire at this point is believed to be accidental, though the investigation is ongoing.
