Turbomax already has a strong base in the modernization and retrofit of TMC systems for Turbines and Compressors.

As a fully trained HIMA solution provider, Turbomax will be able to provide users with HIMA’s technology, including project assembling, testing, start-up, operation and maintenance.

“(Turbomax has) a strong practical knowledge in TMC and an excellent reputation with their customers,” said Roger Van Nuis, president of HIMA Americas.

Turbomax provides technological services for control and automation in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy, Mining, Pulp & Paper and Water industries.

In addition, HIMA and oil and gas engineering company TECNA agreed to collaborate on construction projects throughout Latin America and are jointly bidding on projects requiring safety instrumented systems (SISs).

“TECNA is an engineering construction leader in the region with unique abilities and experiences providing a high level of functional safety solutions to their clients,” Van Nuis said.

TECNA is a global engineering, procurement and construction company specializing in the implementation of projects within the oil and gas markets, as well as nuclear energy.

“At TECNA, we offer our customers complete functional safety services, ranging from PSA, HAZOP and LOPA to providing completed cabinets,” said Carlos Giordano, head of Automation & Control at TECNA. “This is really a best-in-class relationship that will certainly add value for our customers.”

TECNA has performed complete projects for 40 years, from design and construction of industrial plants, to commissioning, operation and maintenance. TECNA is part of Isolux Corsán Group.
