HP fixed two critical vulnerabilities affecting InkJet printers.

The vulnerabilities, discovered and reported by a third-party researcher, can fall victim through a maliciously crafted file sent to a device.

This file could end up causing a stack or static buffer overflow, which could allow remote code execution.

The list of affected devices includes the Pagewide Pro, DesignJet, OfficeJet, DeskJet and Envy product lines.
