Police say the fire was contained quickly and no one suffered an injury in the incident.

Police believe an equipment issue caused the rupture.

A hazardous-materials crew examined the plant for any chemical that would pose a threat to the community and found none, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Lt. Bill Davis said.

Authorities continue to investigate and examine the plant for further damage.
