Radware, Seculert in Security Deal

Security provider, Radware acquired Seculert, a cloud-based threat detection provider.

Founded in 2010, Seculert helps enterprises detect if they have suffered a compromise, and provides information on the attacks carried against them.

The company does this through its cloud-based service which leverages a crowdsourcing and Big Data analytics platform to identify and block attacks.

The acquisition enhances Radware’s attack mitigation system, which will allow for advanced threat analysis.

Seculert, which has received more than $15 million in funding, has offices in the U.S., the U.K., and Israel.

Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
