Two Hurt in MN Truck Blast

Two people suffered injuries after an explosion and a fire at a North Mankato, MN, truck repair location Wednesday.

Technicians were working on a compressed natural gas garbage truck at the Allstate Peterbilt spot, when the employees noticed the flammable gas was leaking.

While people were evacuating the gas ignited, causing an explosion and fires in the shop area.

Two of the workers were hurt in the blast.

A 59-yea-old man sustained first and second degree burns. He was taken to the hospital.

And a 41-year-old man, was treated and released for injuries to his hand.

Police say they’re still investigating to figure out exactly what caused the explosion.
